"Went to Versante Sunday after waiting for it's opening. The staff was friendly and explained the ordering procedure after handing me a menu. The menu was extensive for a pizza place with several choices for pastas, salads, sandwiches and of course, pizza. I enjoy thick crust but thought I would give their cornmeal thin crust a try. I have to say that the pizza was easily the best I have had in Bend. I had several friends tell me good things about them and they were right. Finally a place that is kid friendly but not Chucky Cheese that is just great pizza. The building looks fancy from the outside but is very relaxed and comfortable in the inside. "Personally, I think Versante is great. Sure, it's no fancy-pants gourmet pizza place but what they do, they do well. Portions are generous, the selection is large but not overwhelming and the crust is fabulous. Also, the price points are really reasonable, considering the amount of food- and it's always nice to have leftovers. Cold breakfast for pizza, anyone? "I love this place for so many reasons. 1.They have a hilarious commercial about not being on the Westside. Cracked me up! 2. The pizza is awesome! 3. They have some toys for my kids to play with. 4.
